Pastor Joel Kobosh was raised in a Christian home. His parents were missionaries in South Africa and this is where Joel was born. They returned to the USA after serving 12 years and settled in Wisconsin, where Joel attended high school and college. At a young age, he felt a calling on his life to serve the Lord in missions or pastoral role. Joel completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from Maranatha Baptist University and went on to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, receiving a Masters degree in Ministry Leadership. His greatest passion is to bring Glory to God by reflecting Jesus Christ in all arenas of life. Joel was called to be the Pastor of Oak Hill First Baptist Church on May 16, 2021. He and his wife, Abby, have three boys, Wells, Oliver, and Eli.
